MENTAL WELLNESS INTIATIVE
An Investment in the Next Generation
This year, we are partnering with The Danny Christner Foundation and The Jenks Public Schools Foundation to give back to our student body at Jenks High School and improve the mental health wellness of our students. Studies have shown that outdoor spaces and relaxation rooms can provide a safe environment for students to reduce stress and anxiety--improving overall health.
These spaces will be located at Jenks High School and will include one courtyard with a fun, engaging, community-building atmosphere, featuring turf and interactive yard games. The second courtyard will have a more relaxing, calming atmosphere, featuring green space, flowering plants, and furniture. Both spaces will be designed to be permanent, sustainable campus fixtures--benefitting generations of future students
OUR GOAL
We aim to raise $150,000 to create two dedicated courtyard spaces for students to gather, build friendships, relax, and recharge.
